Open Gardens’ Plant Sale
The Plant Sale held on Green Bank, South Zeal, during the area annual Gardens Open Day continues to be very popular and this year the proceeds achieved on Sunday 17th June will go to the Playing Field Association's Play Equipment Fund. Now, however is the time for local people and others that intend to continue to support the sale to prepare to provide plants they have grown but have no room for - shrubs, herbaceous plants, annuals or vegetables. Pot them up and in due course deliver them to Wendy Redstone or direct to the stall on the day. Anything at all that you grow that is surplus to your own requirements will be very much appreciated to give as wide a variety of plants as possible and support financially this worthy cause. If anyone is in need of seed trays or pots of ANY size Wendy Redstone has plenty to spare at Moorlands, South Zeal and her telephone number is 01837 840205.
